That's how it feels like in my bedroom, with a thermostat of 22 degrees centigrade, 72 degrees Farenheit, and 295 Kelvin. Yes, we have started thermophysics in Physics lessons today. Now according to the laws of thermodynamics, 'heat energy is being transferred from my body to the surrounding colder air.' Curse you, unbreakable laws of science, for i shall have to freeze to death tonight. (for the benefit of those who do not know, a meat-locker is a freezer compartment in restaurants where lumps of frozen meat are stored.)
We have gotten the 3rd preliminary debate motion today, This House Believes That parents should be required to attend compulsory parenting classes. This motion seems to be mixed between a policy and principles debate, which really ticks me off. We're the proposition team, up against CHIJ St. Teresa's, which is supposedly a better english-speaking school than ours.
Then again, so was St. Andrew's and Australian International.
Moving back to the topic of debate, we had our first intra-class debate in english lessons today. I spent the first half of the lesson reading 'The Secret Diary Of Adrian Mole, aged 13 and 3/4', which was, as Adrian would have put it, 'dead good'.
I felt sooooooo irritated that we couldn't give points of information when the speakers were talking! I felt like just standing up and shouting "Point Of Information, Sir.' just for the novelty of it. Then again, they were only given three minutes to speak, as compared to the usual six that we have. the points structure were not as good as I hoped they would be, but I can see the style there. So keep it up you guys!
I still do not know how to link people. Some technical help please?
Does anyone know where I can watch 'The Arena' online or at another time other than Monday nights? If you do, please let me know.
Tomorrow is Good Friday. I really feel gratitude towards poor Jesus. I wouldn't even have the guts to do it myself. So all I can do is express thanks and sing words of praise.
Thank you, O Lord, who absolved us all of sin.
Amen.

Above All (extract)
Above all powers, above all kings
Above all nature and all created things
Above all wisdom and all the ways of man
You were here before the world began
.
Crucified, and laid behind a stone
You lived to die, rejected and alone
Like a rose trampled on the ground
You took the fall and thought of me
Above all
