I was planning to post a video of a piano piece from The Phantom Of The Opera, entitled 'Think Of Me' by Andrew Lloyd Webber, sung by Christine Daae in Act One, probably the best song in the entire musical. I have finally finished learning how to play it after one month, but I haven't had the chance to record it. Why?
Lack of privacy, for one. Every time I try recording it, someone either becomes nosy about what I am doing with the camera on the side of the piano and intentionally walks by very slowly and tries to look at what I'm doing.
You know what I'm talking about. That irritating look that practically spells out, "What on earth is he doing?" Then they crane their neck to get a closer look.
Also, people do occasionally walk by the range of the camera lens and spoils the background. You know how irritating it is for some foreign body to be in a video or photograph you are taking. Unfortunately my piano is in the living room, where everyone goes occasionally, even at night.
Moreover, it's hard to get a hold of the camera, since it is being tossed back and forth between my sisters, who use it almost everyday. And when I do, everyone has to be at home to spoil the ambience somehow.
Therefore I have been delayed about one week.
Expect it up by this week, latest next week.
I'm now learning how to play 'Apologise' by Timbaland since it's such a popular song. Maybe another month or two will get it working.
I have also embedded a song from imeem.com on my blog entitled Little Wonders by Rob Thomas, on the left. Lyrics are in one of my posts if you're interested.
