Hi, I'm Jia Zhe. This is my blog where I post little snippets of my life, fanfiction and orginal works. I've also recently taken to writing a lot about Kung Fu Panda and its characters. Enjoy. But only if you really want to.

I just recently discovered something that annoys the hell out of me: Talking to objects in earnest when they/it will never respond in a million years, close to about never.
There's this need for human beings to communicate; Homo Sapiens is an extremely social species, but I really can't understand why people frequently try on a regular basis to communicate with something that doesn't even know or care is you exist.
One example concerns my newly acquired thing (dog, pet, companion, whatever you want to call it). And it just really irritates me when somebody starts talking to it, saying things like:
Have you eaten already?
Hey, stop biting me!
Do you want to go out and play?
Do you love me?
Every time this happens I'm thinking the same old thing over and over in my head: How the crud is it supposed to respond to you?? Yeah, I'm pretty sure that one day it's going to rear up and start responding to your questions!
