Hi, I'm Jia Zhe. This is my blog where I post little snippets of my life, fanfiction and orginal works. I've also recently taken to writing a lot about Kung Fu Panda and its characters. Enjoy. But only if you really want to.

Alright, it's almost been a month since I last posted (since there's nothing blog-worthy to post about, really) but I just HAD to after taking a look at Saturday's papers.
Frankly I didn't really think the papers were all that bad; usually I only read them for the Sunday coloured comics. And it's been a long-known fact that the papers is controlled by the government, but could they at least try to spread their propaganda more subtly? A 7-page long report on the new book about the PAP and bonus reads? Are they really serious? Excuse me, we already have Social Studies class for that purpose, thank you. And it wasn't just the Straits Times, Home also carried the exact same headlines with snippets from the book (Men in White, just in case you haven't caught on yet). To make things worse, the chapter they picked encompassed "How the reins of power were snatched away from the leaders of the PAP one day". I took one look at the cover page and immediately got turned off.
.
Okay, papers aside, I went bowling with a few people on Friday at the Civil Servants' Club (the building just opposite the West Mall). I hadn't picked up a bowling ball in four years; I was quite surprised at how much lighter the ball was. It was quite enjoyable, as long as you aren't the lowest scorer. I ended up just a few pins behind Shao Lun's score which was a little over a hundred. Not too bad, I suppose.
.
Random failers: If you have a really low threshold/tolerance for pain, you might not want to watch these next few clips. However, if you are a sadomasochistic person who enjoys it when other people are in pain, click right ahead.
