Hi, I'm Jia Zhe. This is my blog where I post little snippets of my life, fanfiction and orginal works. I've also recently taken to writing a lot about Kung Fu Panda and its characters. Enjoy. But only if you really want to.

I suppose that it's about time I actually posted something that might actually have a ghost of a chance of interesting readers. So term started almost a month ago but formal classes only started yesterday. I'd like to pause for a moment here and officially declare that AC probably has one of the most chock-full timetables; three out of five days end past four o' clock, four or five if you include co-curricular activities. Either I'm starting to lose any life I have remaining left or, oh wait, it's probably that.

Orientation 'Campfire', two weeks ago, was in one word, amazing. That is, if you extract the mindless screaming, incomprehensible cheering and insanely long conga line from the picture. Side note here: it is definitely not a good idea to cram a little over a thousand hot, sweaty bodies into a hall barely large enough to cope, nor is it wise to inadequately ventilate said hall. Oh, and I know that it's a popular song, but I absolutely cannot stand anything sung by The Black Eyed Peas. Especially when it's played over and over again. Any 'funky', 'techno' song is pretty much the same except either the words or melodies are swapped around. Or sometimes both.

Positives: ACsian Theatre and the dance troupe were incredible. It was possibly the most awesome display of synchronised mass dance I have ever witnessed - nothing like those shoddily-done routines where everyone seems to have two left feet. Everything about it was completely novel, creative, eclectic; it's really hard to describe without a recording which I sadly do not have.
